Get your Doctor to recommend Colon Cancer Screening!

In two recent studies Indiana researchers noted that in health participants without a family history of colorectal cancer, participants were five to seven times more likely to be screened for the disease if their physicians recommended it. Other reasons patients did not get screened were the fear of the results, not having any symptoms and not having time to do the examination. The article concluded that " A doctors recommendation is critical to improving screening rates.
